x5 oil service light reset

Hi,
Does anyone know how I can reset the oil service light? I have a 2001 x5 4.4. I know that Pelican has a reset tool, but it costs $366 for it. Is there something else I can use?
Thanks.

Looks like its the same as the E46.

Hold down the Odo button, turn on the key, wait until "reset", "Oil service", or "inspection" comes up then release the button and press it again.
