Rebuild hydraulic lift motor

I have a BMW Z3M Roadster with a bad hydraulic lift motor for the convertible top. I have attempted to buy a salvage lift motor but after paying the shop to install said motor, the motor was just as faulty as the one that is currently in my car and I was out the labor costs. Would like to avoid spending big bucks on a new hydraulic motor (was quoted $1200 plus labor to fix). Does anyone know of a reputable company that can rebuild the motor I have for reasonable bucks.

Do a search for a Mustang top motor for the BMW unit. On the Other BMW forums there are many threads on the topic.
