I have been running 87 octane in my car. Seems to run fine. What do you guys use???

My Z3 calls for 93 but it seems to run fine on 87, No pinging or anything.

There is a good chance you knock senior is retarding your advance and you are losing power and fuel economy.

I am getting between 26 to 29 MPG depending on driving conditions.
