Advice on boosting performance

Hello. I wish to boost the performance of my 97 BMW Z3.
I don't plan on racing it or anything. I would like to put a supercharger or turbo in it. Which will be the best. And what mods or enhancements do I have to do for structural support. For both options.
thanks

One of the leading names in BMW Performance is Turner Motorsport, I've linked you to the Z3 section of our catalog. They have the Shark Injector performance tune and a bunch of suspension goodies for your chassis as well.

The most bang for your buck is to attend a few driving schools.

A HPDE will improve your skills immensely and you will be much quicker. Check your local BMW CCA chapter for what they offer. Motorsportreg.com is place to look for events.

This right here! Is the best route to learn your car and improve habits as a driver.

Just make sure you have:

1. Decent brake pads (Cool Carbon, or Hawk Performance) make quality performance pads for your chassis, use the filters on the left column to narrow down the fitment options.

2. High temp brake fluid to avoid boiling the stock fluid and losing brake pressure. I recommend Motul 600. Great fluid for the price, 660 or SRF is overkill for most.

3. Decent tires

Definitely have a shop look over the car to make sure all suspension bits are tight and rubber bushings arent completely worn out.

Apologies for the long winded response, I'm itching to get back to the track myself.

Thanks for the support.

Just finished my first HPDE in my Z4 (have done s bunch in my 911).

Lots of fun.

FWIW, my Z4 is stock with Bridgestone RE760 sports. Stock brake pads and Pentosin DOT4LV brake fluid. No issues all day long.
