Intake Whistiling Sounds when applying gas
 

Hoping someone can help. I am NEW Z4 owner, 350 miles on 2.5. When applying the gas at certain levels (in every gear), I hear a high-pitch whistling sound coming from the engine. If I apply more or less gas, the sound fades out. Any ideas of cause or fix are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Could it just be the sound of air being sucked in?

I might be tempted to take it to the dealer and see if there are any recal bulletins issued as of late.
