Exhaust Leak
Can anyone help me on this one. I have a 1998 Z3 2.8. I was driving home tonight and the car all of a sudden got loud. Really loud. Its an exhaust leak coming from under the hood. When I got home I try to find the source but had no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? My BMW sounds like a 1972 ford pickup.

Found the problem. It was a M18 plug that came loose and fell out of the exhaust manifold. The other was still there. Called the dealer and of course he didn't have one. But found and Audi drain plug that works perfectly. Just a hint if it happens to someone else.
