loose seat---is it the seat rails???
I have a 1999 Z3. About a year after I purchased it, the seat rails had to be replaced. The car is now 8 years old. Recently the drivers seat has started to move about a quarter inch when I hit the brakes hard. Any idea what is causing this and how do I fix it??

it is the rails. you need the whole lower section

The good news is that there is an inexpensive fix for this.
http://www.z3ers.com/02/100602/shish01.html Read about it on this site above. You will need to buy some delrin bushings from Doug and spend a couple of hours tearing your seat apart. It works great though. |
