Hello Guys,
I'm a new owner of a 99 BMW Z3 w/2.5L. This car has very low miles and the engine sounds great with great power. The Radio can't pick up any radio stations when I select the scan button. I've pulled out the radio and can tell that the former owner had cut some of the wires right before the connector and I guess he wanted to put back the original BMW Business Cassette player back on to sell it. Not all wires are connected and are cut with tape at ends. I'm not able to see the other ends of the wires coming from the wire harness. So which panels do I need to remove and how do I go about this to fine the wires to connect them back to the connector. I've also read at other forms that the antenna amplifier does go out and sometimes just need to be replaced. Note the former owner also put a aftermarket amplifier which I've managed to by pass and got sound from all 6 speakers. Any help from anyone to fix the radio wiring would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, |
