M Logo No POWER, no nothing ... Z4M

Well I've had my M Roadster now for 2-3 months...and love it... wellllll. Until this morning. Was going to a PCA (long story) event and was all loaded up. When I went to start her up she was dead. I placed a plug in charger on the +/- terminals and juice began to flow but not enough to start the engine. Tried several times.
the only way to get it started was to jump from another car. When it is running the DSC, ESL, and brake light all stay on. The idle speed is jumpy but around 1000RPM. When I try to engage 1st if i don't hold the pedal steady at 1000ish it stalls dead. If i am idling and try any RPMs over 1800ish it stalls dead. I am hoping you guys can provide an easy way to 'reset' things because this was a big kick in the !@#$% for me.
- I had run the car the night before, but only a minute or two. it was 5 days prior otherwise. Seemed normal.
-Battery is fully charged, one year old.
-the car appears dead unless an external power supply is connected.
-I checked the fuses behind the glove-box, not all but ones related to the warning lights. no issues there.
...any help is appreciated.
