Lower control arm

So I replaced the front lower (left) drivers side control arm and now the steering wheel is off centre and pointing right. What happened? Would like to have the steering wheel back into the centre rather than off to the right.

It's my understanding that any such components require alignment after replacement. Manufacturing tolerances mean that each part is not exactly the same. But only by a tiny bit. Did you have the weight of the car on the ground when you tightened the pivot bolt?

I just replaced all four of mine and did an M030 upgrade...which definitely required an alignment afterwards.

Thanks for your reply. I did place a floor jack under the ball joint of the control arm as I torqued each nut. I’m going replace the other control arm on the passenger side and see if that will centre the steering wheel.

Do all the work and then get it aligned. Do any rear suspension work, too. All 4 wheels need to be aligned.
