Expansion Tank

Did a static pressure test on the cooling system today. Dropped two psi in ten minutes. No sign of a leak and fluid loss may be a few ounces. Just wondering if it should hold pressure indefinitely or if there is an acceptable loss rate. I am planning on replacing the tank. Thanks |

There is no such ting as "a acceptable loss rate" on the cooling system holding pressure. It either holds pressure, or it does not...……..
