O5 987 throttle "bumbs" at 1800 to 3000 rpm
For several months my 987 revs by itself as I go down the road in any gear under 3000 rpm. Very annoying - like I am tapping the accelerator every 10 or so seconds. Electronic throttle sending unit? ICU? Fuel pump? No check engine signals. Porsche service manager suggested using a different gasoline! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have owned this car since new and it has 89,983 miles on the clock...mostly flawless with air oil separator only issue with engine.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Before spending any money on parts, I would suggest pulling the error codes to see where the issue is coming from.
