2002 boxster power steering fluid leak

My power steering pump started making noise, I added fluid into reservoir, but it leaked all out to the ground. Is PS fluid leaking common among Boxsters? What would usually be the failure? The Pump is dead? The hose got burn by exhaust? Or just the fittings?

If I want to replace the hose, do I have to take off the intake manifold? Or I just need to take off the throttle body?
