cayman stalling in neutral

Just picked up an 07 cayman, it runs/drives great...but stalls in neutral when you let off the clutch. No check engine light on.

More info? For instance, at a stop, in gear, clutch in-good idle? Does it die quickly, like ignition turn off, or more gradually, maybe fuel related? Will it start in neutral with clutch in? Will it idle in neutral with the clutch pushed in? Can you keep it running with the gas pedal in neutral? Can you feather the clutch in neutral and pull down the engine RPMs? How about does it die in neutral if the car is in motion? Like put it in neutral and coast down the street.
With no check engine light, I wonder if that is pointing to some drive train/transmission issue?
