Hello Forum,
Trying to fix the horn-keeps-going-off issue by replacing the bushings on the airbag bracket, but I've been spending countless hours trying to get the airbag off. I know I've reached the screws with the proper torx size, but I keep trying to turn it [clockwise] but they won't budge! Anyone have the same issue, and is there some way to remedy, fix, trick it into moving? ![]() |

Righty righty, lefty loosey? Try counter-clockwise? Not sure but that's usually how it works.

In this instance it's righty tightly, lefty tighter still.
Either way I can't get them to move... |

Using a T30 wrench? From the driver's point of view, turn it clockwise. I used a 4mm hex wrench and had to use a small box wrench over the short end to give it enough torque.
My intermittent horn was from worn out rubber bushes in the airbag frame. I made delrin replacements. Search "horn" with my name. |
