97' boxster roof mechanism up-grade
Hi everyone,my first post here; i am replacing the early type convertable top roof and mechanism to the later type roof and mechanism, on a '97 boxster. Replacement parts from '03 boxster.This changes the plastic rear screen to a glass one.The gearboxes,mounting studs, (and motor,if necessary) are easy to change, but, i am unsure what electricial modifications need to be made to the early type circuit, ie.module, windscreen- top microswitchs, 'b' pillar microswitch, and the microswitch on the top of the drive motor. The later type set-up gives a lot less trouble. I'm sure someone must have done this. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. TG
