torque specs for sway bar bushings and drop links
 

Hi,
There is an article here on suspension that talks about replacing sway bar bushings and drop links; however, no torque specifications are given. Even the book, "101 Projects for Your Porsche Boxster" does not mention what the torque specifications are for this even though it describes how to do this work. Does anyone know what the torque specifications are for the bushings as well as the drop links?
The car on which I want to do this work is a 2007 Porsche Cayman, base model (and I assume it is going to be similar to the 2007 Porsche Boxster, base model).

For unlisted torques, I just look up torque charts online.

I've searched online but haven't found them yet -- is there a link that you can share?

That is just an example of one I've seen before. If you Google "metric torque chart" you will find several. I keep meaning to print one out. I'm also trying to get into the habit of writing common torques in the front of my manual (oil drain, wheel lugs, that sort of stuff)

Thanks very much! How does one determine what grade a bolt is (4.8 or 8.8, etc.)?

Many fasteners will have the grade stamped on them. If they don't....well...uh....
I like to buy new fasteners from McMaster, or I shoot down the middle and hope that Porsche didn't use the lowest quality hardware. Besides the 101 book, do you have the appropriate maintenance book? You'll get a few extra torque values from the Bentley book, if they have one for your '07. My car is a '99....hence why I'm not giving specific values.
