Boxster Won't Crank

Hey guys,

I have installed my replacement motor into my '01 Boxster S 6spd. However, when I went to start it up for the first time it wouldn't crank... wouldn't even try!

- Tested battery (12.6 volts)
- Bypassed the clutch switch by connected the two wires together
- Checked fuses in the fuse box under the steering wheel.

Noticed the power windows will not go up.

I tried locking the car via the key blade in the door and then unlocking it trick, nothing still.

The car has been in the garage for a few months, thus the immobilizer hasn't been soaked by rain or etc.

Before having the car towed to my local dealer, any other ways to determine the issue being the immobilizer?

Brian

Does the red light stay on the door lock switch on the dash? if so it's immobilized.

I sent my PAS, ECU, and Key-off to have them tested and reprogrammed if necessary. I'll report back when I have more info on this issue.

Made a short video on the issue and what it took to fix the non-starting issue.
