Window will not drop on door open
 

I have replaced the regulator and the micro switch, but my 1998 Boxster passenger window will not drop the few mm to open/close door. It does come down automatically with conv. top switch, it works from window switch. looking for what i should dig into next?

Hi when you say replaced the micro switch do you mean the one in the lock mechanism as that is where the switch is to drop the window.
I messed around with my lock mechanism for ages cos the window stopped dropping. In the end I bought 2 lock mechanisms ( both doors ) and everything worked properly again

had same on 02 boxster s , didn't want to pull regulator cause it looked complicated and the window did go up and down and was tight in full up or down, inbetween i could pull window up or down a half inch, dove into it and not that bad a deal, replaced and works great,only thing is when you reconnect the air bag it triggers a light on dash, porsche wanted two hundred to reset, found a local for fify, ifn I had to do again might try to cut the insulator around bag and leave it plugged in
