Question Brake Pad Damper Broke Off...

Hey Guys - Seems I am in a bit of a pickle. I am in the process of changing my front pads and while removing the pad dampers, one of the inserts broke off in the caliper.

I was not prying very hard and by the looks of the pad, the screw broke through the metal part. Little corrosion in the area where the screw broke through.

Here is the million-dollar question. Does anyone have an idea of how to remove the insert from the caliper?

What year or Boxster/Cayman variant are you asking about? There's nothing like that involved in brake pads on a 986.
