Boxster No Start

Hey All,
2001 Boxster base, 2.7 L, w/ 91,000 miles.
This was a repo that I purchased and have been trying to bring her back to good running and better looking condition.
I have a no start condition. Turn the key and no crank, no start. I replaced the electrical portion of the ignition switch with no change. I pulled the immobilizer and the circuit board does not look like it's been damaged by water. I jumped the starter relay and then it does crank but does not start. Purchased new starter relay and still no crank but can still jump the relay and it will crank but not start. Jumped the clutch safety switch and no difference so that seems to be working also.
Thought I'd check for spark this weekend but I really don't think that's it either.
Anybody been in the same boat? Misery loves company
Thanks!

Update: Well, checked for spark with in line spark tester and no spark, so much hunch was incorrect.
Anybody have suggestions as how to proceed trouble shooting this ignition problem?

Possibly crank position sensor.

Thanks Tony. I agree. After doing a lot of research since posting my original question, I think that just might be it. Already ordered one. I'm definitely going to update this post after I install it.
Thank you for your reply!

UPDATE: Well, sad to say, it wasn't the crankshaft position sensor. Still no start, no crank.
I'm going to try the camshaft position sensor next. I'm pretty sure a failing camshaft position sensor will also prevent spark and fuel.
To be continued....
