Load test the battery and alternator, one (or both) may be on their way out...……..

I’m getting it once in a while when driving, but I just put in a new Bosch Alternator and new battery. I checked the belt and it looks fine. Could it be a bad new alternator/reg? Or could issues with the belt and pulleys do the same thing?
I hooked up a scanner and their are no codes.
I checked the battery and it is charging...

as JFP suggested, load test the battery. charging wont tell you if it's good or not

Battery is brand new and it was fine before the alternator change, so I suspect it, but it's new as well...

Like many things...they dont make them like they used to. I had 2 brand new batteries go bad within weeks, same with alternators.

With that said are you sure you got everything hooked up correctly and secured when you put the alternator back in? Might want to go through and double check.

Update:

So I thought I would put on a new belt to see if that was the issue, I took it out for a test drive and it completely died (luckily right in front of my neighbourhood liquor store). Wife picked me up and I grabbed the old battery and put it in. Drove home and still got the dash warning so I know it’s the brand new Bosch Alternator.

I am going to get my old one refurbed and talk to Bosch about the new one.

So yes, I am having a cocktail now...
