The ugliest Porsche ever!?

This is definitely the ugliest Porsche in Australia (and possibly the world). I would like to introduce the new Home Built project car, the '98 Porsche Boxster with a host of very questionable modifications.

This week I dive a bit deeper in to the ugliest Porsche in Aus, now known as the Roxster, and see what I can do to get it ready for it's first track day.

I've seen some ugly, over modified cars in general so I was skeptical, but man, this car is seriously ugly!!!

I got Roxster out for its first track day and it was a heap of fun.... until it wasn't.

Due to popular demand, in this video I tear into the Roxsters engine to see if we can find out what actually went wrong.

The door stops are classic, hope they stay with the car -- enjoying all your videos, thanks for sharing!

In this video I remove the 4.2 litre V8 engine and transmission from my 2003 Audi C5 A6, getting ready to swap it into the 'Roxster' my Porsche Boxster track car.

Epic! Pretty cool that the transaxle bolted directly to the V8. Can't wait to see it in the car.

Yeah. That is the main reason to go this engine.

In this episode I weigh both the old Boxster engine and the V8 I am swapping into it, to see just how much extra weight I am adding to the Roxster.

This week I quickly recap the damage to Harry 911 and then I get stuck into fitting the engine into the Roxster.

Nice update. Was wondering how you were going to fabricate the braces for the motor mounts. Those turned out pretty well.

Hope you aren't being affected by those terrible floods down there. Scary stuff!

This week I finish off the subframe to mount the Audi V8 into the Roxster. This includes the engine mounts, gussets and crush tubes.
