2007 Cayman Window/Communication issues?
 

So we have a 2007 Cayman 2.7 car. About 2 years ago the windows quit responding. A local porsche tech cleared the codes and the problem was fixed. Now 2 years later theyve quit working again. I plugged in my scanner and itll connect to the car itself. But when you try to access any information beyond that itll pretty much say no communication. So I disconnected the battery let it sit 48 hours then reconnected it but no change. So as of right now the car runs and drives. However the windows dont respond at all. The keyless entry doesnt respond. And more recently it has started saying transmission in safe mode. To me this points to a possible issue with a bcm or part of the system.

So with all of that said has anyone had this issue? If so what was the fix? Front bcm module replacement? Or more indepth?
