1997 - rest of world Boxster (ROW)
Hello all. I own a Boxster 986 1997, ROW (Rest of world) spec that came from Japan, currently with me in Canada for 5+ years.
I have struggled to find any info about this car. Does anyone know anything about ROW boxsters or have any resources? What i do know is this car was retailed by Mizwa Japan Porsche Different front and rear bumpers that are different (nicer) then north american cars different lights front and rear (no yellow insert) factory lowered suspension - i believe known as M030 ![]() ![]() ![]() |

ROW vehicles generally didn’t have bumperettes. Pretty sure that was a North American requirement.
Yellow turn signals were standard up to the 2002 model year. I would hazard to guess that the clear headlights and taillights were added after the fact at some point. M030 suspension was a common opinion and it’s probably listed on the options label on the underside of the frunk lid. Last edited by BoxsterSteve; 01-10-2021 at 04:07 AM.. |
