2003 986 cdr-23 with most, cd changer, amp.

Hi I am new to the forum and I'm hoping I can get some info on how to take out my cdr-23 cd changer and amp and put in a double din stereo. I already have the mechanics done, just need help with proper wiring. What to keep what to ignore. Please and thank you. If this is covered on another thread, please let me know. my CDR-23 currently has an antenna lead, a 2 brown lead fibre optic clip. a yellow clip and a black clip.

I would check with the supplier of your new radio. They provided that information when I swapped out the radio in my car. There is a connection diagram in the manual for the radio of you still have it. That will tell you what each wire does. Unfortunately I've only got the manual for a CDR-220, I don't know if that will help you.

Doing a quick search on-line, I did find this, which should give you everything that you need.
