2004 Boxster 2.7 to 2002 3.2L swap

I have a guy who we pulled the engine from a

2000 2.7L Boxster with a 2002 3.2L that was running flawlessly. I have no clue what was done to it.

It is installed with a new clutch into a 2004 Boxster, it's using the 2004 fuel rail and injectors. After 40 hours the swap labor is done.

It starts but misfires and throws codes for fuel pump relay issues, doesn't respond to throttle, and will idle this way indefinitely. We're using the 2004's DME, immobilizer, cluster.

What is the next step?
