Replaced spark plugs and now car won't start

Car (987.1) was running well yesterday. I replaced the three spark plugs on the passenger's side and reconnected the coil packs, taking care to push the rubber insulation properly back in place. Now it won't start. When I turn the key, I get about two clicks a second.

Dashboard lights and radio work fine.

Any ideas?

Looks like what happened is that I initially started it up with the rubber boot a little loose. This shorted out the battery, which may have already been weak to begin with.

It only had 3%. I charged it up to 50% and it started right up!
