Elusive Leak

2000 Boxter S, 38 k miles. I recently noticed what I thought was the dreaded RMS leak. Upon future inspection I noticed the leaky is a black chalky watery mix , no oily residue what so ever. No water in oil, no oil in coolant. Leak is on the left side of the engine , nothing noted around the ims , rms area. Leak is mid engine.

Coolant level appears ok , leak is not substantial. Anyone experience this issue ?
Thanks

Pull the cover from behind the seats and check the water pump weep hole for leakage.
