Boxster 986 climate control problem .

hi all
i have Boxster 986 climate control problem .

quite simply .... sometimes it works fine and sometimes its just dead.
i.e. The climate control unit shows no LCD display and nothing works , no heat, no blower no nothing.

what is odd is that it is intermittent. This week it worked for five outings in the car tehn not for the following two.

Any ideas anyone?

Ive pulled the unit out and unplugged and replugged the connectors on the back whihc mde no difference and checked the fuse connectors and they dont seem corroded or oxidised and fiddlying with the fuse doesnt make any difference.

is it possible the unit is dying and would would intermittently?
