What is this part?
 

While removing the front bumper to clean radiators I found this hanging near the Home Link and outside temperature probe. Any idea what it is and how to replace it? Would appreciate the help but more so to know where to look this type info up. NEW to Porsche. Thank you for the help. The second question is on how the Home Link should be mounted.

several suppliers have diagrams and or parts lists. And for older cars there is a file called the PET that may be found that has lots of info. auto atlanta porsche (google it) and this site may be helpful

Thank you for the responses. It took me a while to get the bumper off again but I did find what the part was. Hood Latch Lock Actuator - 99662411901 I did not realize the posting does not show my vehicle which is a 2011 987.2 Cayman Base. Found the part on eBay - replaced and working fine. Again thank you for the help.
