Cayman Radio Reads "Protect"
'08 Cayman
PCR23 Disconnected battery for a couple weeks while replacing the door lock. Now, the radio reads "Protect". I found these suggestions while scouring the internet... A...push 1, 2 & TP simultaneously (did not work) B...disconnect fiber optic connector (On the back? Cannot reach behind.) C...PST2/PWIS1/PWIS2 tester (?) The dealer checked the VIN but found no info. He asked me to get radio code from the manual. The manual lacks instructions for the radio. I usually use the car for short trips and do enjoy the quite ride but... |

Those don't usually have a code. Weird! Maybe disconnect power to the radio for 1 minute and reconnect.
