We bought a lovely 2.7 manual 2000 and are really happy with it - it en perfectly until it suddenly didn’t. Changed overnight. We’ve had a lot of rain (flooded roads) but the floor doesn’t feel particularly wet (slightly damp). There’s an oil leak but we don’t know how long it’s been there - we’ve not accessed the engine before.

Apart from running too rough, it’s making a distinctive noise.

Id appreciate any thoughts on this!
