The Things People Say...
Im 18 and my friend's dad has a white 2002 Boxster. It is an amazing car and I love the P-cars. His dad lets him drive it sometimes and we go out crusing around, but some of the cr** that people say to us is ridiculous. I admit two kids driving in a Porsche Boxster might get some people mad, but people say things like Prick or did ur daddy buy that for you and thigns like that. We never get it from other P-car owners but its alot of people. Anyway, just expressing my feelings on this and saying how much I love the Boxster and the people who drive it and the other P-cars. I am looking to get a 944 as my first Porsche, I really cant wait.

Around here in SoCal, especially in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach, a lot of 16 year olds and up have some pretty expensive rides. I think this brings about contempt from the masses. You might as well get used to it. People are like that. Do yourselves and everyone else a favor and act mature with the Boxster and let them eat crow.
I remember an expression that is apropos here: If someone thinks or talks badly of you, act so that no one would believe them. |
