2005 987 Boxster tip drive shafts

I noticed that the tip and manual have different axles. 987-332-024-07 is showing discontinued everywhere I look. Is it possible to rebuild the axles I have? I looked around but didn't find much on this. I find it strange that they discontinued axles for these cars.

Axles are definitely rebuildable. New boots, crimp clamps, grease to repack. You’ll need circlip tools as well. Porsche axles are very sturdy and last a long time… and expensive to buy factory replacements.
It is a very messy job if you do it yourself, but not terribly difficult.
