CDR24 blues
Hello,
I have a problem with my 06 Cayman S CDR24 radio and I need help to upgrade the software or reset the unit. . It basically jumps FM stations between 100.3 and 97.1 back and forth. it only does it when tuned to 100.3. none of the other stations on the band do this. I checked it with a scan tool and there were no fault codes set. Maybe there is a software update for this unit available. Maybe there is a way to factory reset or reflash the unit. Appreciate any pointers. The software versions according to the scan tool. Bose external amp is sfwr version 1.76.00 CD changer is sfwr version C38. Thanks Guys! I'd search for a used head unit. Lots for sale on eBay or FB Marketplace.

FWIW, I am in Southern California and have the same issue (different frequency, but same issue). This issue has only come up after moving to a rural area, and it happens both with my p-car and with my BMW. The fact that it occurs with both cars on the same station (91.1FM) causes me to believe that it is NOT an issue with the receiver, but rather the signal from the broadcasting stations.

I contacted Becker about this and found out the PTY (program type) function searches for similar fm formats at random . was designed to work in Europe.
