what do I do now? frunk not opening

I have searched and read as many posts as I can find. but still cant get the frunk open.

it has a good battery, starts and drives.

depressing the switch does nothing, no audible noise at the actuator.

microswitches for top seem to be working, as windows dip upon opening?

I located and pulled the manual release wire, and it sure felt like success, but the frunk did not release.

I have tried the jumping the fuse method, no luck. didnt think it would help as my battery is fine.

I suspect the latch is broken, spring maybe, and the actuator is not engaging, possible due to security system not working?

currently, my alarm system does nothing, and windows do not lower, and door locks do not engage. I need a new alarm computer? would that fix the frunk issue?

any help is appreciated.

If the cable release does not open it, it would point to mechanical failure to me and not electrical. Try having someone push down on the frunks Porsche emblem while you pull the cable at the same time. If that works, it could just need adjustment.

What Neil said, or if you don’t have another person push a plastic piece of trim tool in the gap beside the release as you pull the cable.
