Boxster mixed wheel size?

I thought a 1998 Base Boxster on BAT the end of November last year. The car has 17” wheels mounted and came with an additional set of Porsche wheels mounted with Continental slicks. The interesting thing is that the slicks are on two different side wheels. The fronts are 225/45/17 and the rears are 275/35/18s.

Anyone running 17” fronts and 18” rears? Just curious - the tires were old and rock hard so I ordered a new set of track tires and am going to try them out (provided they fit).

The car came with a tub of “spare parts” which included a new brake pads, a clutch, n used intake etc. did some investigating and figured out all of the spare parts were actually for a Nissan SER so no idea if the wheels were actually for the Boxster or not!
