2006 Cayman S clutch slipping?

Clutch pedal was traveling to the floor before engagement, so did a bleed at the slave. Now the pedal is now engaging at the normal location but it is no longer smooth...it is slow to return, feels "springy". Also, now it feels like the clutch is slipping in 2nd and 3rd gear under medium to heavy acceleration. It does not slip in 1st gear, though. Is the slave cylinder going/gone bad? Or is the master cylinder the culprit?

It could be the rubber hose to the slave. They do swell from the inside and may be restricting flow when you’re off pedal. Could also be the pressure plate has lost its ‘spring’.
