Best OEM Fuel Pump

My teenage son and I are going through a Boxster 986 that has been sitting for a few years. We have removed the old fuel and will be replacing the submergible fuel pump inside the fuel cell. What are your recommendations for a replacement pump? Also, does anyone have experience replacing the 2 fuel hoses that get brittle and fail? One of my neighbors suggested we simply replace the hoses that are no good since we have a perfectly fine working fuel pump otherwise. TYIA

OEM or Bosch 67689 is a solid replacement pump for the 986. If your current pump works, replacing just the brittle hoses is fine—use submersible-rated fuel hose (SAE J30R10 spec). Inspect the pump closely before deciding.
