boxster running problem-help!
 
one of our buddies has a boxster in his shop with an unusual problem: no malfunction codes using PS2 laptop, and the intake manifold puffs up when revved! I am gussing the vario cam is not working correctly allowing major backpressure into the intake
any other ideas?

turned out to be the air flow sensor- weird!
