Foul smelling A/C

As of late, the interior of my car smells... as if someone passed gas. (That's about the only way I can state it!).

It is not present when I get in the car, but only after driving a while. It seems to be coming from the A/C.

We have had a rainy summer here in Florida. Could it be mold?

Anyone have any suggestions of what to clean or what to replace, or where to look.

Sincerely,

Odiferous in Orlando

It's mold. Turn your AC off and crank up the heat as hot as it will go (feel free to not sit in the car!). Leave your windows down. Run it for several minutes with and several minutes without recirculate engaged. You should also replace your cabin air filter. Hope this helps!
