awesome

do you know the part number for that shift knob and boot?

If you want an original knob and boot (from a 98), I'll sell you mine. I'm upgrading to a carbon fiber knob.

does it look like the one in tool pants picture? I want the black and silver colors

The base shift knob that came on a 1998 is different then what is in my picture. We call it the mushroom.

Also, a Boxster/996 knob requires a flat blade shift lever. It is a funny design. You cannot simply put it on a pre 1997 car.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1071626382.jpg
