Hi Folks,
I have purchased the Porsche sports exhaust for a 2001 2.7 L Boxster. Do anyone know where I can find some guidelines/instructions for installation? Thanks very much in advance..! Cheers, Humberto- |

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I would like to see the Posrche instructions. DO you have them in electronic format?
Thanks again, Humberto- |

It is in pdf. Can't send attachments with the PM on this board, so you will have to PM me your e-mail.

And for other people that might be interested...I was able to get the Boxster Sports Exhaust (for models before 08/02) from BrandyWine Porsche in PA for a special price of ONLY $1099, which corresponds to less than 1/2 the retail price. In fact, they are still listing a few more in Ebay. Check the following URL:

I have sent you the 7 pages of instructions for the pre 2003 sport exhaust. You should edit your message and remove your e-mail. Jeff

Hi Jeff...
Got the instructions. Thanks. I also meant to ask you... Did you also installed the control unit for the flaps (so that the exhaust sound is controlled as a function of speed)? This part of the installation is pretty involved. I might just skip that part of the installation altogether and have the sport exhaust sound all the time. Hopefully that will produce an awesome but tolerable exhaust note ![]() Thanks for all yout help! Regards, Humberto- Last edited by Calvani; 11-01-2004 at 06:11 AM.. |

I do not have a sport exhaust. Most people just install the muffler, so it is loud all the time. All the electrics and vacuum stuff is so that the muffler will go in the quiet mode 27-43 mph to meet euro drive-by noise requirements.
