'06 Boxster S AOS issue

'06 Boxster S comes in with a hissing noise appearing after vehicle has warmed up. Diagnose it as needing a new AOS. Replaced with a new good German part. No more hissing, but starts smoking immensely. Got another brand new good German part and same results - huge amounts of smoke pouring out. Anyone have any ideas of what is going on?

By "good German part", are you saying aftermarket or factory?

there is a ton of oil in the intake and exhaust system....it's going to take some time to burn out....
confirm that there is normal vacuum (can check at oil cap)
if so you need to run it and fog them mosquitos.....your o2 sensors will be fine.
I've seen 2 997s aos fail and dump a full quart in each muffler and had to drill to drain it.....
boxer mufflers are different so shouldnt accumulate like those....
I'd run it......the smoke will reduce, but will come back as you drive it some as it moves from the intake puddles.....you could always pull the plenum to clean, but you'll never get it all out....
