New family member

We made the leap and bought a Boxster to add to the family. So now the wife has the Boxster and I have my 911.

2000 Boxster - 2.7, 5spd, Cobalt Blue Metallic, sport package, 17" polished wheels (extra set of 17" sport classics included), black partial leather interior, 24100 miles. One owner, from VA, all service records including delivery slip and window sticker. Delivered by Intercity Lines late Saturday afternoon.

Nice! Great color. And just in time for good weather!

Thanks Doug. I was watching your posts very carefully. I really liked the updates you had done to your car - the front bumper cover, the clear lights, the hard top, etc. Unfortunately silver wasn't at the top of the list for my wife. She had her heart set on a blue, either the Cobalt as pictured or Zenith. As it turns out both are pretty hard to find....

My first Boxster was an Ocean Blue (dark blue) metallic with grey interior. I loved that car.

The updated clear lamps would still look great on your car, IMO. It's amazing how fast it updates the look of the car.

I only went with a new front bumper because mine had permanent dimples from the PO's licence plate. They were the first thing I saw every morning when I stepped into my garage. It drove me nuts...so I changed it and decided to go with something newer looking.

When you get a chance, post some more pics!

Will do... only grabbed one pic so far since we took possession. Will get some more this weekend, weather permitting.
