Don't hang me - only looked at it

The local Porsche/Audi/VW dealership I drive by all the time has a red Toyota (Gen3) MR-2 Spyder out on the front of the lot. I stopped to look at it, 2001 low miles $16,200.

That's $10,000 less than a Boxster.

Something about this car just does not move me.

It looks like a toy, but not in a good way like a Lotus does.

..................and there is no room for golf clubs.

It looks like a square Boxster. A boxster for squares?

I drove through the same dealership lot last night, just to see what was new. Did you know that when a 2004 996 is parked next to an Audi TT,- from behind the Audi TT looks not only taller but fairly wider? Very strange indeed.

I drove one of the new MR2s when they first came out. Nice. Boring. And if you think people complain that the base Boxster is slow, wait until you drive the MR2. I mean, it can be fun, but by no means is it a serious sports car. I'm sure you could spend that extra $10k to make it one, but then you just have a really expensive Toyota...

The Boxster *is* a chick car. I know 'cause chicks, including my wife, dig it!
