Rear bumper "bumperettes" cutouts?
Someone "nudged" the wifes boxster in the rear a while ago (but lets not go into stupid drivers rant). While getting the bumper fixed, the two small cutouts to each side of the license plate don't look punched but rather 4 drill holes and routed between. These are the holes where the little rubber bumperettes stick though. Makes me wonder if it has had the rear bumper replaced in a previous life. Can someone take a peek behind their bumperettes and tell me what the factory holes looked like originally? I'll take a pic and post, but shes never home enough for me to even see the car - Oh, and I miss her too
![]() Thanks, SMD

Thanks tool pants. Yours looks like what I expect the factory cutouts would be. Went out and shot a pic of the car this morn. You can see they are much more half assed. Now Im wondering if its even a factory replacement bumper.
![]() BTW, where did you get the hitch? I've been thinking about one so we can tow the kayaks. Looks like a simple thing to fab, and a really clean install. What are the little tabs sticking up in the middle?
