Cleaning the Engine
I'd like to clean off the topside of my engine. Other than taking the usual percautions and not getting any h2o in the driving compartment, do any of you see any problems with a low pressure washing?

I wouldn't spray it. I'd take a damp rag and just wipe it down. It may take allittle more time to do that but I've heard some wash down horror stories with the ole hose over at 986forum.com

Thanks, P_D. Looks like I almost made a big mistake. I've never had any problems with my SC after an engine hose-down and blow-dry with the leaf blower, but this new (to me) car makes the '82 seem stone-age, technically.
