03 Boxster s cd changer
My in dash unit is a CDR 23. Are both the CDC3 and CDC4 cd changers compatible with my in dash unit? Do I need to purchase any cable to connect the 2 or is it pre wired and simply a plug and play? I have the bose system in the car.

Only the CDC-4 will work on your car. You also need a kit to put it in, and a PST2/PIWIS to "turn" it on.
